The arrival card is no longer filled in on arrival
  • The arrival card used to be a slip of paper handed out on the plane.
  • You filled it in somewhere over the destination, handed it to an officer at the desk, and forgot about it.
  • In a growing number of countries it is now a form you complete before you travel, and the name has stopped describing what it does.
 Congo positive
Congo-Brazzaville to introduce visa-free entry for Africans, electronic authorisation mandatory
  • The Republic of the Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville, is progressing towards eliminating entry visa requirements for all African passport holders.
  • This proposed policy change would simplify travel for eligible individuals.
  • However, even with the visa exemption, travellers would still need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before their journey.
 Tanzania critical
Tanzania now requires health declaration for all arriving travellers
  • The Tanzanian Ministry of Health announced on October 17, 2026, that an online Traveller’s Health Surveillance Form is now mandatory for all arrivals to mainland Tanzania.
