A unified digital portal for applications will be in effect for 2026, integrating e-visas, a tourist levy, and an e-Arrival Card. This system affects most international visitors, with citizens from 97 countries now eligible for the electronic visa process. Travellers with an e-passport and e-visa can utilise automated gates upon arrival, while the e-Arrival Card must be completed within 72 hours of landing. A 30-day Visa on Arrival option costs 500,000 IDR, payable at the airport or through the e-VoA system. New direct flights from Melbourne Avalon to Bali are also scheduled to begin in March 2026.
