Pakistan: Disembarkation Card goes digital
The digital disembarkation card functionality, introduced on February 25, is now available to international visitors holding a valid Pakistani visa. This mandatory entry formality, previously completed on paper forms distributed by airlines or at airports, can now be submitted via the official Pak Identity app on iOS and Android devices. Travellers must input personal and travel details including passport and visa numbers, flight information, arrival date, and vaccination status, before presenting the digital confirmation upon arrival. This streamlined process applies to all visa holders, with the exception of those possessing an “Overseas Pakistani” card. There are no associated fees for using this new digital service.
