Senegal introduces E-Visa payment requirement for non-African travelers

The reform mandates that non-African nationals pay their e-visa application fees online prior to travel. This reciprocal system specifically targets citizens from countries that currently require visas for Senegalese visitors, with nations like France, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and China expected to be affected. Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko confirmed the new measure, which is forecast to generate an estimated 60 billion CFA francs in revenue.
