UK Crown Dependencies: ETA Scheme Extension

Applications for the Electronic Travel Authorisation scheme for Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man open at 10:00 a.m. on April 9, 2026. The requirement for non-visa nationals arriving directly in the Crown Dependencies from outside the Common Travel Area begins on April 23, 2026. An existing exemption for French nationals taking a day trip to Jersey or Guernsey with a national identity card remains in place. This expansion coincides with an increase in the ETA fee, which rose from £16 to £20 on April 8, 2026.
